VIA University is a 9-month leadership pipeline at VIA Church that will develop you through leadership lessons from lead pastoral staff, exposure to ministry tracks and offer tools to encourage growth in every area of life. The individuals that are selected to be a part of each intake are called the uCrew. The uCrew will be expected to be at church on Sunday as well as being in the office Monday’s from 12-5pm for lessons, ministry tracks and to participate in our all-staff meeting.

The year will be broken down into two semesters. The first semester runs September 9, 2019 - January 13, 2020 and exposes the uCrew to every active ministry we have here at VIA. After spending sometime learning about the ins and outs of each ministry the uCrew will dive into one specific ministry for the following semester, which will run January 20, 2020 - May 4, 2020.

In regards to baseline curriculum, the Crew is expected to read through the entire Bible in a year and engage in conversation about what they are learning in the Word. As mentioned above, the Crew is also expected to attend service on Sunday’s. In being accepted to this streamline leadership program, the Crew is expected to participate in all VIA Church events and VIA U activities.

Before submitting this application we highly encourage reading over the Crew member expectations. Please be mindful that VIA U will require your time and involvement throughout both semesters. Check out the links below to learn more about what VIA U is, what being a part of the Crew means and how to be a part of the next VIA U intake.

Applications are due by August 2, 2019.
